Hey Everyone! Sarah Melia here! Just wanted to make a page specifically for the 3A Schools. This will be a page to recognize accomplishments schools have made that go towards the Silver and Blue Star Award. Here you can get ideas for your very own school. 

Great Job to ATECH, Boulder City, Dayton, Fernley, Lowry, Sparks, Spring Creek, and Yerington for gettting their goal packets in early and complete for the month of September!

So I just wanted to recognize Yerington for being super on top of things! You guys are awesome, and getting closer and closer to the Silver Star Award! Yerington is now planning a Unity Day to unify their school. They'll have JC groups, games, and they plan to paint the park by their school. So if any of you guys need ideas to bring together your school, this is a great one!

Lowry had a successful  Awards Assembly at the end of last year. to keep students entertained and not so antsy, they had students entertain in between awards. What a great idea!

This weekend while attending a state board meeting in Spring Creek, as a council we went to a Spartan football game. This game was intense!!! Their leadership class sold purple(their school color) soda cans, during their lunch and asked for the cans back. Then they filled the cans with rocks and coverd the whole with duck tape. Let me tell you: those things make amazing NOISEMAKERS!!! and they're easy! AWESOME IDEA SPRING CREEK! Way to get creative :)

Its so great to hear how successful everyone's Summer Retreats were! I'm glad you all had the chance to bond with your councils! Have a great yer and welcome back!
